Six Indians Placed Most Twitter Followers in Top 100

As many as 6 Indians (namely Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Deepika Padukone, Narendra Modi, Shahrukh Khan and Aamir Khan) made it to the list of Top 100 Most Followed twitter handles in the World. The stats were based on the Follower counts on 31st December, 2015.  

In the country-wise stats, US topped the list with a massive 66 Twitter handles in Top 100. UK and India have 11 and 6 respectively. While Brazil & Canada share 4 each, Spain settles with 3. Other Nations such as France, Portugal, Colombia, Indonesia, Puerto Rico and Saudi Arabia.

In Top 100 Twitter handles, There are 45 Men, 33 Women and 22 Brands. 

One among Katy Perry, Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift will be the first to achieve 100 Million followers.

Amitabh Bachchan was honoured for Lifetime Achievement Award

బాలీవుడ్‌ దిగ్గజం అమితాబ్‌ బచ్చన్‌ జీవిత సాఫల్య పురస్కారం అందుకున్నారు. దిల్లీలో జరిగిన ఎన్డీటీవీ ఇండియన్‌ ఆఫ్‌ ది ఇయర్‌ అవార్డ్స్‌ కార్యక్రమంలో బిగ్‌బీకి ఈ పురస్కారం ప్రదానం చేశారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా ఆయన మీడియాతో మాట్లాడుతూ.. ఈ వయసులో కూడా విభిన్న పాత్రలు చేయగలుగుతున్నందుకు ఎంతో సంతోషంగా ఉందని, ఐదు తరాల నటీనటులతో నటించడం అదృష్టంగా భావిస్తున్నట్లు చెప్పారు. ఇప్పటివరకు చేసిన ప్రతి సినిమా నుంచి ఎన్నో కొత్త విషయాలు నేర్చుకున్నానని తెలిపారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి అమితాబ్‌ ఆయన కుటుంబ సభ్యులు జయా బచ్చన్‌, శ్వేతా పండిట్‌, అభిషేక్‌ బచ్చన్‌లతో కలిసి హాజరయ్యారు. ప్రస్తుతం అమితాబ్‌ నవాజుద్దీన్‌ సిద్దిఖి, విద్యా బాలన్‌తో కలిసి తీన్‌ సినిమాలో నటిస్తున్నారు.

Yash Raj Films Dhoom franchise is planning to rope in Rebel Star Prabhas. Earlier reports said Amitabh Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan will be sharing screen space in Dhoom 4.

Film-maker Aditya Chopra, director Vijay Krishna Acharya and other members of Aditya’s production house had asked for a special screening of Baahubali some time ago. After watching the film, they thought of casting Prabhas.
